Locomotive Shed at University of Northampton receives listed building consent

Northampton | 26th February 2015

The University of Northampton has received listed building and change of use consent for the transformation of a Grade 2 listed former engine shed and adjacent office building designed by mosescameronwilliams architects. The currently derelict buildings, originally built in 1873, will be transformed into a social hub for the students and will house the student facing administration facilities of the Students’ Union. The buildings are an integral part of the University campus and are located adjacent to the proposed student residential development as part of the masterplan designed by mosescameronwilliams that received Outline Planning Consent in 2013.
