After a previous career as architect in Rotterdam (NL) I have come some time ago to settle and work in this university town with its incredible collection of historic and contemporary buildings.

At MCW I feel that I can use both conceptual skills and my technical experience in the delivery of large-scale complex projects, preferably in the higher education sector. I do believe in the importance of high-quality public space, strong design strategies and beautiful inexpensive detailing. And of course, being aware that in the office and on-site, every day is a school day.

Outside of work:
With my international family we share our free time between Finland, Germany and the UK. Apart from travelling, I like skiing and mountain climbing, films and Bavarian beer.
