Day out - Henry Moore museum

Perry Green | 11th July 2013

The whole team spent a day out together to charge our inspirational batteries.
Visiting the Henry Moore museum in Perry Green we were inspired by the way Henry Moore lived and worked. Exploring his house and workshop, lingering around in his park we were fascinated by his way of working and finalised sculptures likewise.

Laboratory of Molecular Biology Opening

Cambridge | 23rd May 2013

The new home of the Laboratory of Molecular Biology was formerly opened on 23rd May 2013 by Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh. The LMB is the flagship project for the new Cambridge Biomedical Campus and will be home for 600 scientists, PhD students and support staff.

The Royal party were given a short guided tour of the new building including a display from the LMB Archive that showed a sample of the work that led to nine Nobel prizes for research.

Colin Moses had led the design team for this ground breaking research building from 2006 through to start of construction in 2009 and had the honour of being invited by Sir Hugh Pelham (LMB Director) to join him for lunch with the Queen.
