Why architecture:
When I was about to enrol in Aeronautical Engineering, my father said to me: “You can do what you want, but I’ve never seen you disassembling your motorbike” and he was completely right!

I have always enjoyed learning about a wide variety of topics, and architecture is a fascinating combination of many of the disciplines I love.

Inspiration:
As an architecture student at ETSAM, I was deeply inspired by Alberto Campo Baeza’s ideas about architecture and his emphasis on the control of dimensions and proportions (“with the precision of a surgeon!”)

My experience in the medieval city of Ferrara helped me realize how much I enjoy living in a historic city, something that a few years later brought me to Cambridge.

I love the moment when a storm is coming, my family, her, and a good olive oil from Jaén.

Architecture:
I value ideas that are powerfully simple, that respect the city and its history, and make our human experience richer and more exciting.
