Why Architecture?

Being honest if you told me when I started all this that by the end of it all I would be excited about line weights, a particularly nice brick or elegant window reveal I probably wouldn’t have chosen this path. Over time though architecture has become a passion that it would be weird to live without. The varied nature of architectural problem solving ensures that every day is fresh, there is always something to learn.

The steepest learning curve was renovation my own place. This process has given me new levels of appreciation for, and understanding of, how things go together. Lessons learnt here are constantly applied to new challenges in the office. Outside of work I enjoy playing five a side football and squash. My weekends are spent travelling around the country catching up with friends and family.

Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.
